Offering in-person and telehealth services for adults
I began Collaborative Healing because of my passion for making high quality mental health services accessible to community members. My personal therapeutic style is open, honest, and non-judgmental. I hope that together, we can work to navigate the challenges that come up to find conclusions about any discord you experience and work towards living a life in line with your values and goals. My therapeutic practice utilizes the modalities of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person centered treatment. I strive to create a supportive and safe place for people to discuss and examine their inner-most thoughts and feelings. My experience is working with those who suffer from anxiety, depression, substance and/or process addiction, grief & loss, trauma, mood disorders and family struggles
Offering in-person and telehealth services to kids, teens and adults
My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. I also enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ population, as I am passionate about supporting this community by being an advocate for equality and inclusion. I have worked with many clients experiencing negative symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, stress, grief and many more. Together, we will work to explore these challenges to break down these emotions and better understand what they mean. I use a wide range of therapeutic modalities which includes CBT, MBCT, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, DBT, SFBT, and play therapy techniques for my younger clients. As a therapist, I provide a welcoming, honest, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. It is my goal to help clients obtain and identify their strengths by increasing their self-awareness for a better emotional/mental well-being while also reframing negative thinking to more positive thoughts with the incorporation of coping skills.
Providing telehealth services for teens, adults, and couples
My aim as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to approach change. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other difficult areas of life. I have spent the last 18 years in the field helping individuals, couples, and families navigate issues from communication and boundaries to psychiatric hospitalization and substance abuse treatment. I incorporate cognitive behavioral, dialectical, mindfulness, solution-focused, and narrative therapies.

Since 2017, I have worked with a variety of clients struggling with a range of treatment issues including, but not limited to, trauma, depression, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, substance use disorder, grief, and anger management. I have worked with clients as young as five years of age, however most of my clients have been adolescents and young adults. Most recently, I have worked in a space intentionally using theater as a therapeutic tool for teenagers on the West-side of Chicago. As a therapist, I aim to collaborate with clients and assist with driving a healthy narrative and relying on their own skills and strengths. I believe in providing a healthy, non-blaming, safe space for clients to process their thoughts and feelings and encourage personal growth.
